Take this scene from The Godfather (Coppola, 1972).
The Godfather, Don Corleone, receives visitors in his office on the day of his daughter’s wedding.
Johnny Fontane, the famous singing artist, in a desperate state pleads with Don Corleone to “persuade” certain Hollywood producers to offer him a new record contract.
: 03 Johnny Fontane: Godfather, I don’t know what to do, I don’t know what to do.
Abruptly, standing and shaking Fontane while yelling at him.
Godfather: You can act like a man (slaps him in the face). What’s the matter with you? This is how you’ve turned, he’s been in Hollywood so many years cries like a woman.
:15 Mocking him with heavy sobbing
What can I do? What can I do?
Reaching out in a comforting manner
:25 Godfather: Come here. You look terrible. I want you to eat. I want you to rest well. In a month from now this Hollywood big-shot is going to give you what you want.
:40 Fontane: Too late, they start shooting in a week.
:45 Godfather: I’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse.

• These characters must have names.
• You must supply dialogue for all spoken parts (They are speaking Tamil)• You must describe major physical asides. If your main character is on the verge of taking another man’s manhood with his foot, then you must indicate this.

The Mystic Island by: Toykan Ozdas
Not after the ship wreck happened….
I woke up on the beach all by my self but no one around me, I shouted Bob’s and Randy’s name many times but no one answered me, I was all alone in this island I was at the beach, and there was a big forest right behind me, It was getting late so I was getting hungry I though I could had find some fruits and get back before the dusk. I was on my way it was cold, I was shivering I had a bad feeling about here I started hearing some voices It sounded like people talking but this something else yes! It was behind that big bush, I walked towards it and looked it was 5 people there eating animal flesh, I couldn’t really say they were “people though” “They were human like creatures with sharp teeth’s and long nails they were wearing nothing but an underwear. I was scared, So I ran back to the beach, But on of them was running behind me he must have sensed me, He was so fast he was running like a cheetah and shouting at me it sounded as if he was roaring I hit my head on the tree and fell down I passed out…………………
Next thing I know is I am at their base, And I called them Yum,Yum’s They were friendly they took me to the chief of their land and he knew English he told me that they eat all kind of food except humans so they didn’t hurt me after a week I had grown a beard I was becoming like an animal I had long sharp teeth’s and long nails they called me, “Tehmuton” “The Special One”
I had forgot abou the past I didn’t have anyone else in my life then “Yum Yum’s” They were my family now and this is my life………..

Mummy in the Pyramids
It was so quick I couldn’t thing of any thing I was confused. I was asking my self, "where am I"? Oh my head hearts. Two ours later I woke up. Where am I where I used to live? I had forgotten every thing. I started walking. Every where was dark I couldn’t see anything. I thing there is some thing strange about here. Oh my god there’s a coffin there. I opened that coffin. I saw a mummy I was so scared I ran I saw a door I opened the door what the heck I am in the pyramids I thought to my self that the people are too far from the city so I ran back to the mummy I pulled the mummy’s stomach yes I am rich. Diamonds and gold’s just flow out of the mummy’s stomach. I haven’t got enough room for gold’s so I just filled my pocket with diamonds.
I found another coffin in there I though that there should be a mummy and more diamonds I opened the coffin, there was a mummy there I put my hand to reach some more things from she’s stomach, she grabbed my at once I ran away oh thank god I finely lost her. Oh my god I am so hungry I ran out of the pyramids to get some food and drink. I got my food from bates and I got my drink from cactus. I went back to pyramid I saw a mummy walking she didn’t seem scary I thought maybe she can help my get to the city I went to talk to her. She asked my some thing I couldn’t understand any thing. I just tried to tell her that I need to get to the city. After she took my some where she showed my all of the secret in the pyramids’. It was the most awesome place that I ever been after she took my out of the pyramids she showed my group that were traveling to city. I thought that I can travel to the city with them. I gave one of my best diamonds to the mummy for thanks after I gave another diamonds to get on a camel. It was a hard time but I finely in the city.

Dear Diary;
Today is 12/1/1612.I am really hungry. I didn’t eat anything since Thursday. Before I came to this island I don’t believe centaurs. I heard lots of mythology about centaurs. But now I saw them with my own eyes. Centaurs don’t like me .They are trying to kill me .I try to befriend them. I don’t understand how I am here. I was trying to go to America
Centaurs are very different creatures. After shipwreck I just remember I woke up and I found my self in a caldron. Centaurs try to coke me but I escape. When they don’t look at me I jump out of caldron. Silently I go outside their place. They didn’t see me. I think other people who came to this island they hurt them so now they are trying to get revenge. Now I really hate them. So in this morning I made a cunning plan catch some of centaurs to take hostage. But I don’t want hurt them so I cancel my plan. Also I don’t understand centaurs language .They speaks very differently. I never heard this language before. Centaurs eat living things. Especially cows, sheep, worms…I know because when I tried to escape from caldron I saw these animals in other caldron.
Now I am waiting help. I wish someone will be come this island and save my life. I am really afraid because of centaurs. Some days I didn’t eat anything and I didn’t drink water! It is very hard to survive on this island. But yesterday I went the island highest mountain and I saw one ship and I made fire to see me I hope someone saw this fire and someone will come this island. I should wait few days.

Today is 14/1/1612 I am really happy, I am very please for captain Logar . He saved my life, a month later I will go to my home! Finally I ate something good.
Thank you, captain Logar and his sailors but I am very sorry for centaurs. Captain Logar and his sailors hunt them.

Many times our sisters make us angry and sometimes we wish they weren’t even born.
One day we went up the mountains just for fun. That day it was snowing .My sister couldn’t see well, she was so small and the snow was very strong. I can say that it was difficult from me to climb how can my sister climb if I find difficulties? She tried pretty hard but then she fell to a big black hole, into another dimension, and hit her head. After a while she woke up and saw small people around her holding her.
The world there was so much better. That city was called City of Rock. I wish I was there!!!
After she went to their police and tried to contact with her, but she didn’t now their language. She was only speaking Bulgarian, English, and Greek. They tried to find out from were she is but they couldn’t. I can say that even their police was great. Their clothes and hairstyle were like punks, and they were huge peaceful guys with purple eyes .Can you imagine a city of rock that are with strange hairstyles and on the walls there was graffiti? Their sports were only basketball, soccer, and tennis. After she saw all these stuff they put her on jails, but she could escape because those people were fat and she was thin so she could escape these jails that had a lot of space between them.
She dressed up like them and ran away well she was wearing red clothes like a team of basket that was playing the same time she escaped. She ran and found a door. She opened it and there were big courts of tennis basketball and soccer. She opened a door. From the outside it looked very small but from the inside the building was too big. It had three courts, but in the first one was a match between a red team and black one. The red team was wearing red like my sister. She tried to go and sit to the benches but someone pushed her in the game, so they thought she was in the game and passed the ball to her. She didn’t want to play but she didn’t have another choice. When my sister was playing, the crazy style that she got fell down. Everyone looked at her strangely. After five seconds all of the people there started running at her. The police got her again and this time they put on her hand a very shiny red bracelet. It was night so she went to sleep. In her dreams she saw from where she fell and where she went after her fall. Then she woke up .It was still night. She planned from her bag her Barbie’s makeup which had a small mirror. She made a plan. She dressed up quickly. Then she got her favorite Barbie makeup that had wearing the bracelet that she couldn’t get from her hand. She ran. All the people were sleeping.
In that country it had a time difference. So it was still day in the real planet, so they could see her. She went there and did a science trick. She put the red bracelet on the mirror and after five minutes someone saw her by the light of the shiny bracelet. He rescued her with a road. She asked her from where she was and called to the ambulance. She was so tired so she slept. When she woke up she saw us all crying. But when we saw her opening her eyes we were the happiest people in the world. After that she told us her story.
It was cool, I wish I was there! But now I know something really important. Maybe our little sisters make us angry, but never wish that you don’t want them born!
